Legal counseling takes place every third week at our social center in Malmö. We hwo are involved in counseling are law students, lawyers or asylum rights activists. We provide information and when possible give advice in asylum and migration-related matters. When we meet a new person or family we are usually two or three persons present and if necessary an interpreter. If further contact is needed we decide during the meeting how this will take place. What is said in the counselling will not be disclosed to anyone outside this group. We all have knowledge in asylum law but we can not provide professional help in the same way that a lawyer can do.
